Kate Walsh is an excellent American film & television actress who shot to fame for her role of Dr. Addison Montgomery in America's top television series "Grey's Anatomy" and its spin-off "Private Practice".

Walsh started modeling in Japan in 1980s and then she shifted to Chicago where she performed in several stage shows at Piven Theatre Workshop.

Kate is very passionate about acting.

Her lovable performance on the National Public Radio production "Born Guilty" brought her good recognition.

Later Kate moved to New York and joined the comedy troupe Burn Manhattan in 1987 and performed in a number of off-Broadway plays.
